Leyla Aliyeva participated in the presentation of the new fragrance collection at Nine Senses
At the Nine Senses Art Center, an official presentation of the new fragrance collection "Şax" by the conceptual brand "Ətirşah" took place.
The evening, which gathered well-known public figures, bloggers, and niche perfume experts, combined the world of high perfumery and contemporary art, creating a unique space for self-expression.
The honorary guest of the presentation was Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of the IDEA association.

The central theme of the event was the connection of the fragrances with the creativity of Leyla Aliyeva. The brand’s director, Jalal Melikov, confessed that it was her artistic images and poetic vision of the world that formed the basis of the key compositions in the collection. As a tribute, two fragrances — AzRose and An-Nahl — were officially presented to Leyla Aliyeva during the presentation.

9 Fragrances — 9 Senses
The collection is presented by nine unique compositions, each representing a connection between fragrance and human sensations. Each perfume reflects one of the nine senses: sight, taste, smell, touch, warmth, hearing, balance, intuition, and the general feeling (the sense of wholeness).
Sight: AzRose (2024)
Feature: Uses the unique Zagatala rose. This unisex fragrance became a perfume embodiment of the beauty we perceive through our eyes. The fragrance is inspired by Leyla Aliyeva’s artwork “ROSE” and her inspiring creativity. The perfume bottle is decorated with a painting by Leyla Aliyeva.
Taste: An-Nahl (2025)
Feature: Inspired by the verses of the Quran's "Surah Al-Nahl" (The Bee). This surah describes the life of bees and their benefits, and its inspiration unveils the perfection of nature and the deeper meanings of life.
Smell and Attraction: Azerbaijan Forest (2019)
A classic of the brand, existing for about 10 years. A men’s fragrance that “speaks” the majestic forests of Azerbaijan.
Touch: OudAbad (2024)
The most expensive and unique fragrance in the collection. Made with natural Indonesian oud, giving it a nearly physically perceptible animalistic character.
Warmth: Phirni (2023)
A gourmand unisex fragrance. The scent of a warm milk dessert, evoking nostalgia for childhood and scenes from the movie "Bride Kidnapping."
Balance (Past and Future): Meysəri (2023)
Dedicated to the winemaking traditions of the village Meysari. A symbol of balance between history and modern development.
Support (Economic Support): Azeri Light (2023)
A men’s fragrance where oil symbolizes stability. Dedicated to the historical "Contract of the Century" signed by Heydar Aliyev.

Hearing: Sevgi (2025)
"Women love with their ears," the creators describe this fragrance. Love is the ability to hear and understand. A gentle unisex fragrance.
Intuition: Kəklikotu (2023)
The strong and sharp character of mountain thyme. Reflecting the culture of Azerbaijani tea-drinking and the premonition of truth.
The collection concludes with the fragrance Feramon (2019) by Christian Provenzano — "an elusive" sense that makes the brain constantly analyze the changing scent.
As explained by the director of the Nine Senses Art Center, Natalia Zhukova, experiencing a fragrance is an opportunity to touch one of the brightest and most vivid manifestations of life more deeply. Scent opens a special sensory modality, allowing us to feel the world through one of its facets more vividly.
Guests not only got to know the fragrances but also experienced them through emotions and art. During the evening, five artworks were presented, specifically created for the project. These works visualized the synthesis of scents and sensations, emphasizing the main idea: fragrance is not just a scent but a powerful conduit to the inner world and emotions.
According to the creators' idea, each perfume in the collection is designed to emphasize the individuality of its wearer, leaving behind a lasting and memorable trail that becomes an extension of their personality.

In the perfume creation masterclass, participants were introduced to the basics of perfumery art and learned to work with a professional palette of ingredients. Under the expert's guidance, they explored the structure of a composition — top, middle, and base notes — and learned to combine different aromatic chords. At the end of the masterclass, guests received a finished bottle with their personal fragrance composition and a certificate of participation in the event.
